Where is MIC?
Wesleyan House, 271 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island.
Can I book a funeral venue directly?
Due to regulations, funeral services at MIC MUST be booked and conducted by a licensed Funeral Director recognised by MIC.
The Funeral Director, on your behalf, shall take care of the arrangements, from procedures to logistics.
Can I visit the venue prior to the booking?
Yes, please contact us to schedule a site visit.
What are the charges?
Each session books in 3 hours. For charges and fees, please refer to our pricing.
Can I book an evening for the funeral?
Time slots are subject to venue availability. Additional charges may apply.
What are the hours for venues, and are there restrictions for bookings on Sundays or Public Holidays?
MIC venues are available from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Saturday. Bookings on Sundays or Public Holidays are subject to approval and may incur additional charges.
Can I hold specific dates for the venue?
Bookings are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Can non-Christians book a funeral at MIC?
MIC serves people from all walks of life. We welcome both Christians and non-Christians to host a funeral or memorial service at MIC, guided by a Christian service order.
Do Methodist members enjoy a discount?
Yes, we offer discounts to members and congregations. Please contact us for more details.
Is there free parking offered to crew members?
MIC does not offer any parking. All guests are advised to use parking lots in commercial buildings nearby.
Can I deliver the casket to the Chapel prior to the funeral?
Yes, you are welcome to deliver the casket prior to the funeral. If you prefer an open casket, please make sure the casket has a transparent cover.
Can we deliver funeral flowers to MIC prior to the funeral?
Yes, you are welcome to deliver the flowers to the Chapel on the day.
Are food and drinks allowed in the Chapel?
Unfortunately, food and drinks are strictly prohibited due to hygiene concerns.
Can I bring my pet to MIC?
Yes, we are a pet-friendly venue. Please inform us if you plan to bring your pet along.
