We have an abundantly generous God. The death of Jesus on the cross was the ultimate demonstration of that generosity. How do we as Christians respond?
Generosity is part of our discipleship; it’s how we make a difference in the world, and it’s an indication of the vibrancy of our Christian communities.

There are more than 2300 verses in the Bible about money and possessions. More than a third of Jesus’s parables are about our relationship to wealth.
The emphasis of his teaching was not about how much we should give and to whom. It was about where our heart is – what’s most important to us and where we find security.
‘If there is among you anyone in need…, do not be hard-hearted or tight-fisted towards your needy neighbour. You should rather open your hand, willingly lending enough to meet the need, whatever it may be.’
‘Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.’
