MIC is located at the heart of Hong Kong Island, next to major hotels and within walking distance of the MTR station.
Our newly renovated, iconic church, designed by renowned architect Rocco Yim, offers a grand and elegant setting for your wedding.
We provide a heartfelt, one‑stop service, guiding couples from preparation through to the on‑site execution of the ceremony.
With an easy booking process, we warmly welcome couples from different churches to be married on our premises.
The Sanctuary
Capacity: (1/F) 260 people, (2/F) 190 people
The Sanctuary has two levels, a main floor and a balcony, offering a total capacity of 260 guests on the first floor and 190 on the second, giving you flexibility to suit your wedding size and style. The space is equipped with a Steinway grand piano, professional production equipment, and an audio‑visual technician on site, so you can focus on your ceremony while we take care of the details.

Sky Chapel
Capacity: 80 people
Getting married in the Sky Chapel offers an intimate and uplifting experience on our 22nd‑floor sanctuary, with panoramic views setting a serene backdrop for your special day. Its graceful tear‑drop ceiling draws the eye toward the cross below, creating a beautiful focal point as you exchange vows surrounded by your closest friends and family. With a capacity of 80 guests, the space feels warm and personal. The chapel includes an audio system, a Yamaha grand piano, and an on‑site audio‑visual technician, so you can celebrate your ceremony in peace and confidence.

Wesley Chapel
Capacity: 130 people
Getting married in the Wesley Chapel offers a warm and graceful setting in our intimate, oval‑shaped worship space. The beautifully curved ceiling draws your eyes toward the cross above the Holy Communion table, creating a gentle focus as you exchange your vows. With a capacity of 130 guests, the chapel is ideal for a close‑knit wedding surrounded by family and friends, and is equipped with full production equipment, an audio‑visual technician, and a Yamaha digital grand piano for a smooth and joyful ceremony.

What are the venue hire charges?
Venue hire charges apply for all weddings, with fees varying by date, time, and chapel; please download our brochure for details.
What are the operating hours for venues, and are there restrictions for bookings on Sundays or public holidays?
Bookings on Sundays or public holidays are subject to approval, and additional charges may apply. Our standard booking time slots are:
Morning session: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Afternoon session: 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
How far in advance should we book a venue at MIC?
Our booking system operates on a “first‑come, first‑served” basis. However, we accept early applications for the following year starting from 1 January.
Can we host our wedding at MIC if one of us is a non‑Christian?
Yes, as long as one person is a baptised Christian.
Can a divorced person be married at MIC?
Yes, we are delighted to host your wedding at MIC.
Can we book a blessing ceremony if we have already been married in a civil ceremony?
Yes, we also accept blessing ceremonies.
Do Methodist members enjoy a discount?
Yes, we offer discounts to Methodist members. Please contact us for more details.
Can we bring our own decorations?
Yes, of course! You are welcome to decorate all areas, but please ensure that the materials you use are appropriate.
Our wedding package includes a standard setup with a white carpet, a reception table with a light yellow tablecloth, and a signing table with a leather pen.
Can we appoint our own pastor as the officiant for our wedding?
Only Methodist‑ordained ministers may officiate marriages at MIC
Can the service be held in Cantonese?
You may request a Chinese‑speaking pastor, subject to availability, to officiate the marriage, from the vows and ring exchange to the certificate signing and declaration. For other parts of the service, you are welcome to use Cantonese.
Is there a standard order of service?
Here is a sample order of service you can refer to, but you are welcome to create your own!
Can we have a rehearsal before the wedding day?
You can schedule a 1‑hour rehearsal 2 to 4 days before your wedding day. Couples are encouraged to practice the processional and recessional and run through the marriage parts.
Can we toss the bouquet and throw petals?
Only artificial petals are allowed. However, tossing the bouquet is not permitted indoors
Is there free parking on site?
We provide parking space for one car. We advise that additional parking arrangements be made at nearby commercial lots.
Is food and drink allowed in the Chapel?
Unfortunately, food and drinks are strictly prohibited due to hygiene concerns.
Can we bring our pet to MIC?
Yes, we are a pet-friendly venue. Please inform us if you plan to bring your pet along.
