Cambodia is one of the overseas mission sites that the Association actively supports and promotes. Combining the past years of experience in the association’s missions in Phnom Penh, the association’s 16th “Cambodia Mission Study Group” is now accepting registration and welcomes members aged 18 or older.
The details are as follows:
Mission Period: August 5-10, 2025 (six days in total)
Mission area: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Scope of Mission:
- Lead different fellowships and English classes for the Congregational Church funded by the Society;
- Lead gatherings at social welfare organizations in Phnom Penh to serve street children and homeless people;
- Learn about local history and culture, including the Red Cambodian Sin Museum and the Ten Thousand People Tomb
Language used: Mainly English and Chinese
Team Leader: Rev. Alan Yu
Participants: Members of the Church who are 18 years of age or older and have been baptized, must be recommended by their church director
Request:
- Must attend an interview on June 16 for final selection by this panel;
- Attend training gatherings and encourage participation in relevant courses;
- Good physical health, able to cope with simple life in the countryside and long drives, willing to comply with the team discipline.
Fee: $5,400 per person (Includes round-trip airfare, airport taxes, accommodation, local transportation and meals; excludes visa certificate fees and insurance fees).
Note: Participants may apply for subsidies for up to one-third of the tour fee if financial need occurs, up to a maximum for full-time students for half of the tour fee.
