Requirements

1. Both of you have to be legally allowed to get married.
2. Either one, or both, of you has to be a baptised Christian.
3. You will need to obtain a reference letter from your pastor.
4. We ask you to enrol to a recognised pre-marriage counselling or relevant.

Procedures

Before Application

1. Contact your pastor about your wedding.
2. Check the availability and schedule a visit at MIC with the wedding coordinator.
3. Obtain a reference letter from your pastor if you are not a MIC member.
4. Fill in the Booking Application Form with a copy of your ID cards or passports.
5. Schedule an interview with one of the MIC pastoral team to complete booking.
6. Complete full payment with 14 days after the application is approved.

3 Months before the big day

1. Register at a Marriage Registry office and obtain a Certificate of
2. Registrar of Marriages.
3. Prepare your Marriage Order of Service.
4. Provide copies of your witnesses’ IDs or Passports.
5. Provide the proof of your pre-marriage counselling course.
6. Schedule a rehearsal within 2 weeks of your Big Day.
7. Notify MIC in case of any extra request.
